Intensive Care Unit (ICU):
Intensive care is a highly specialized unit for the patients requiring intensive monitoring and patient care. An entire floor is dedicated for the ICU care. There are total 6 ICU beds.
You may call them simply doctors. But most doctors have extra expertise in one type of medicine or another. In fact, there are several hundred medical specialties and subspecialties.
The Trauma Services department is involved in supporting research activities to physicians and other trauma related requests.
